How to keep motivated before exams

Remain Motivated before your examNow that only a few entrance tests are remaining it is very important for the MBA aspirants to remain motivated and keep the momentum going. With the second phase of the preparation (GD and PI stage) fast approaching it is imperative to be motivated to perform utmost in the remaining papers as well. We would like to share some examples and tricks as to how can one remain motivated –

1. Maintain a folder in your computer of videos and songs that help you keep motivated – some of them should be  inspiring in a very personal way. Videos or pictures of your past achievements and laurels which still give you goosebumps, images and stories of awesome places you want to go on a vacation or fantastic things you want to do once you are settled in your career and rich, commencement speeches and inspirational quotes from public figures you adore – establish as to what works for you and remember to open this folder every time you realize you’ve been wasting  a little too much time.

2. Do a visualization exercise. Imagine yourself walking out of your board exams and how relieved you felt as a kid. Sense as to how would you feel cracking the entrance test and it would give you a mental boost to prepare for the last lap. If you see the exam as just one more step it would spur you on and bring out that insane energy needed at this hour.

3. Group study is also another technique that fits for many. When you find your friends motivated and studying hard for the final blow it would bring out the fire in your belly too.

4. Go out and watch a movie before your exams. This could be a huge stress buster and would help you to keep your off the exam and will make your more motivated when you are completely relaxed.
